I am an electrical/computer engineer with a strong background in computer architecture, computer networks and FPGA hardware design. As a member of the scientific staff at the Chair of Integrated Systems at Technical University of Munich (TUM), I am currently working towards a PhD degree. My research in the area of Network Function Virtualization and Software-Defined Networking focuses on low-latency and resource/energy-efficient packet processing in modern telco and data center networks. Additionally, I am investigating and building high-throughput FPGA-based network tester appliances for nanosecond-precision network traffic generation, capture and latency measurements.
When I'm not working, I enjoy travelling the world, hiking in the Alps, taking photos, cooking nice meals and biking through the city.
